About:

Always a collector, Alexander’s love of decorative arts, textiles, and interiors began as a child in suburban Pennsylvania. This passion blossomed into a career in the textile world where he has worked on brand-building and marketing for Matouk, Sister Parish, and currently, at the house of passementerie, Samuel & Sons. He has been mentioned in House & Garden and Cabana Magazine and has worked with brands such as Waterhouse Wallhangings and Farrow & Ball.

Alexander spends his time between a shoebox apartment in New York City’s Upper West Side and his 1828 federal period home in Rhode Island. When he’s not thinking about design or decoration, he can be found knee-high in a junk shop, estate sale, or ocean tide with his husband and rescue dog.
